Every year I teach several courses at the UMCS in Polish and in
English. The students are either studying for a degree in philosophy
or the interfaculty degree in history and philosophy. For some of
the courses materials have been available on the internet.

the question of why people belive in magic and how this affects the
view of mankind as rational. |

Polish language course which presents papers
by four pragmatist philosophers (Peirce, James, Rorty and Haack) and
Quine to trace out the evolution of pragmatist thought. |
