Abstract
IS RATIONALITY A COMMON PLACE OF RELIGIOUS AND SCIENTIFIC EXPERIENCE?
Contemporary philosophy exposed the cognitive meaning of experience, rejecting or keeping silent in the matter of other meanings – common one (practical), existential and metaphysical. In this perspective, religious experience is being analyzed on one hand on epistemological (scientific) level, on the other it is being rejected a cognitive meaning, not seeing a possibility for a rational grasp of religious views and actions. Does there exist, or could it be designed, a “common place” respecting rationality of experience? Or is it in those two cases the same form of rationality? These questions are being attempted to answer in the paper.
